The Wave
Letter From The Editor
All of us, without exception, are asked by the Universe to step into our power, to make choices in every moment to be at peace, to love ourselves and one another, to be our very best selves in every moment. At this time of year, we gather together in family and/
or friend groups, to celebrate, and to remind each other of the importance of forgiveness and of charity, (that all encompassing, unconditional love), for ourselves and for others . . . even those it may be difficult to love or to forgive.
As the summer light fades and the winter Solstice draws near, we draw inward to contemplate the year past, our triumphs and our shortcomings. Through this introspection, we can, perhaps, more clearly see our opportunities to love and to forgive, and to understand those who struggle to find their way.
In the Sept/Oct Letter From the Editor, I wrote about the power of art to raise consciousness, to communicate more effectively then words, to tell a story that could perhaps not be told any other way.
The painting “The Angel of Global Peace and Transformation”, by Eva Sakmar-Sullivan, featured on the opposite page, is a perfect example of the power of art to help us through what might be a difficult task: that of understanding and forgiving those who have done seemingly unforgivable things, who seem to have lost their way.
I invite you to gaze upon “The Angel of Global Peace and Transformation”, meditate, and see what revelations and messages it might bring to you. Eva’s explanation her artwork captures the essence of it’s message:
“This image celebrates Humanity’s Ascension and return to Divine Source. It calls us to embrace our Sacred ‘I AM’ presence in ourselves as well as our fellow beings.
The Angel holds the energy of ‘Come, Welcome Home’ to the souls that have strayed from their Divine Heritage; the souls that have lost their Sacred Identity and dipped into the dredges of darkness and evil.
These souls not only represent the heinous ones that have walked this planet throughout history, but also the aspect within ourselves that feels unworthy to accept the Divine Beingness and Love of who we really are.
The unconditional love of the Divine is blasting through the universe, melting the hard casing around these souls. The beauty of their colors is re-emerging as the murky sheath of darkness falls away. The God Spark within them is coming back to its original radiant luster.
The souls are ascending upward through the Heart of Love, to be escorted by the Angels and Light Beings on to the Source of “ALL THAT IS.” In spite of their deeds, the spark of God remains always within them. The Divine Light starts to shine forth when the being chooses to return to Love.”
Eva told me of some of the remarkable experiences she had while conceiving of and creating this beautiful and moving work of art.
These miraculous stories add to the meaning of this inspirational painting, so I share them with you here, as a holiday gift to you and all those who seek to find love and forgiveness for themselves and for others.
“This painting was brought forth
by countless serendipitous events
that I believe were orchestrated by the Angels. I was told that ‘this painting’ that I would create would be of great significance to the planet. Its design came through in an instant during a month long stay on Mt. Shasta, as I opened myself to the Divine Source to guide me to serve the highest good of all.
While driving home from an expo where I met a very special Intuitive who told me of this ‘painting’ that I was to do, my car mysteriously died. I was on a major interstate where the traffic was going extremely fast. The traffic miraculously slowed down so I just had enough time to safely pull off and wait for the tow truck. The tow truck driver took me to the nearby town near a very large military base. I had to stay overnight to have my car worked on in the morning. I found this of great significance. What better place to start the process of creating this work. The angel is symbolic of returning to love to create peace and transformation on the planet.
That evening, during a walk after dinner, I looked up in the sky
and the clouds formed countless angels and dolphins. It was not my imagination. They were actually there! I knew instantly that those clouds would be shown like that in my painting. Of course, it freaked me out!
The next morning, the mechanic called me to pick up my car because he could not find anything wrong with it. They tried and tried, but it worked perfectly! They said in good conscience they could not even charge me.
After starting the painting, I came to a roadblock. I did not know how I would depict the lost souls. I asked Spirit to show me a beautiful way to get such an image across. It wasn’t long before I saw this odd-looking oval rainbow form flash upon the wall of my art studio. There was no weather going on outside, nor anything from the inside, to make that happen. I knew in that moment that it was the answer I was looking for. I took a photograph of
it because I have never seen anything like it. There was beautiful color on the top, but it faded down into a gray blur. What a wonderful way to show the souls that were returning back to the light.”
I am very grateful to Eva for sharing with us her beautiful, inspired painting, and her stories of the miracles surrounding it. What a wonderful holiday gift!
My beloved husband, Martin, and I wish you all a peaceful, mindful winter season, and holidays filled with celebrations, joy, laughter, and love, in preparation for a New Year filled with miracles and evolution.
