Spirit in Business
by Aimèe Lyndon-Adams and Karen Halseth
Karen and I have been calling 2016, the year that never was! This is because, by the time we closed out 2015 energies, 2017 energies were arriving.
If you wonder why your results are not what you thought they would be, it is because the energetic focus has been on clearing up and clearing out the old: relationships, beliefs, old self-images, karma - you name it!
popped an OTC pain pill so that I could keep on working? Plenty!
However, with the shingles, pain pills didn’t work! Instead, I was rewarded by my body revealing genetic, ancestral patterns that gave rise to the shingles. Once those were cleared, my body could ask for what it needed to partner and support me in my own purpose in life. Now, I feel more alive, peaceful and joyous than ever before!

As a Gemini, I have a quick and creative mind that constantly keeps me in action. Doing things fast and multi-tasking have become a way to keep up with the myriad projects in which I am involved.
However, my recent experience of 2 back-to-back bouts of shingles, which literally and figuratively brought me to my knees, revealed a new layer
of body wisdom. When the pain was so intense that I was unable to read a book or watch TV as a distraction, I could only be present with the pain and feel into it or walk with it, pacing around our home in the wee hours of the morning!
What was my body trying to teach me? Healing takes time and attention. It is done in layers, in support of our ability and our body’s ability to integrate new wisdom. How many times have I
