Springtime is college admission decision time. Some parents view gaining college admission as the single most important step in a lifetime of success or failure. This is not always the case.
I have seen students admitted to Ivy League schools, only to drop out after a disastrous year of getting sidetracked by drinking and partying. I have also seen students at community
college transfer to Ivy League schools on full scholarships.

in college or through college connections. For many people, college is the time to discover, explore, and experiment with their life calling in terms of work, personal, or vocational interests. It is also a time to develop personal habits
and routines that determine wellbeing, such as physical and mental health, eating habits, political consciousness, spiritual awakening, racial/
gender identity, and sexual awareness. Most
