RAINBOW
SECRETS

Quartz crystals are found all over the world. Many crystals have beautiful rainbow colors inside. These “iris” rainbows are formed when white light reflects off tiny gaps in the crystal structure, forming special holographic colors. Sometimes these “fissures” or cracks contain water and air. When the vivid iris rainbows interact with tiny bubbles of water and air inside the crystal they create Living Rainbow Crystals.
My name is Crystal Bill. I’ve worked with quartz crystals daily for the past 37 years. My favorite crystals are called “Living Rainbow Crystals”. As I warm up the stones, the rainbows keep changing their shapes, their patterns and the range of colors. These colors follow the movement of water and air inside the stones as
they are warmed or chilled. I have developed a special photographic technique that allows me to capture these vivid magical moments.
Crystals absorb liquid from the
ground during their formation.
They also soak up water after they
have completely formed. These
fluids create the dynamic colors
you see in crystals. When the
crystals are warmed up, either by
holding them in your hands or
with a small heat source, you’ll
see rainbows grow in shapes like
ferns, flowers, trees and rivers,
forming marvelous inner gardens.
Most of the Living Rainbow crystals are fairly small, but some have been found as large as 60 pounds. I have personally watched over a dozen different ways that rainbows move around inside quartz crystals. Most
of the Living Rainbows are found in crystal balls from Brazil. It’s easy to see the interior when the outside is highly polished.
As I photograph crystals, every time I change the angle of the crystal, or the lights or the camera, the color scheme shifts. It’s so interesting to see how the

patterns expand and contract. In fact, every time the crystals are heated up or cooled down, the patterns are different. These ancient members of the mineral kingdom are over 100 million years old. Have the rainbows been waiting for us all this time? What is their purpose?
I use these rainbows to create internal flow patterns of healing energy in my mind, heart, body and spirit. The branching crystal patterns mimic the flow of air, water, blood and electricity in our own bodies. You can creatively direct these powerful energy currents within yourself, by memorizing the
colors and movements reflected in these magic crystals. Try this experiment. Find some rainbows colors in a crystal and repeatedly gaze at them with open eyes, alternating with closed eyes. Close your eyes and picture the colors with your mind. Then compare your internal imagery with the actual crystal. At some point, the colors become an integral part of you. Ask the colors to flow to places in your body that need healing. Or send the rainbows to your friends as you help them heal the various
levels of imbalance in their bodies. Use the beauty, color, and light of these ancient devices as a healing and balancing force in you life.
