Rewire Your Brain & Tap Into Unlimited Potential
Would like to learn how to focus your brain, opening to your unlimited potential whenever you need? Would you like to have the ability and confidence to move forward? Of course you would!
How we can have great ideas and intentions, but somehow never make them come true? It could be your inner critic imparting limiting beliefs that get in your way, such as “I’m really not smart enough”, “I’m too busy”, “I’ll never follow through”,
“I can’t . . .”
So what can you do about it? How can you turn your brain around, get out of your own way, and manifest your dreams and goals?
The first step is for you to become the user of your brain, instead of letting it run you. You can do that by neutralizing the negative thoughts and emotions with the Emotional Freedom Technique, aka EFT and tapping.
As you tap on the acupressure points and energy meridians that coordinate with the part of the brain called the amygdala, you start rewiring that oldest, pre-verbal part of the brain where the subconscious resides. EFT tapping calms down traumas, letting the subconscious release critical limiting beliefs.
Here are the steps to take (for a demonstration of the points and tapping process, search Marjorie + Tapping Your Potential at YouTube.com):
1. Rate your emotional charge around the issue, on a scale of 1 - 10, with 10 being the greatest.
2. Tap 7 times on each point, starting with the Karate Chop Point, on the side of the hand under the pinky, while saying a negative statement followed
by a positive affirmation, “Even though I have this limiting belief about ______ (fill in the blank), I deeply love and care about myself.”
3. Keep tapping, saying negative statements or limiting beliefs as you go through the acupressure points, from the top of the head, inner eyebrow, temple, under eye, under nose, under mouth, collarbone, under arm, and both the top and underside of wrist, neutralizing the defeating messages as you go. Assess any remaining emotional charge, tapping through the points again, until your anxiety is 2 or 3 on the scale of 0-10.
4. Now repeat the process, beginning with the Karate Chop point, using positive statements, saying something like “Even though I’m still skeptical, I am moving forward and I deserve to succeed!”
5. Proceed to tap on each point, from the top of the head down, saying positive statements, until you reach 0 on the 0-10 scale. Repeat often for best results!
Use this process, on your own or with an EFT Practitioner, to also release overwhelm, resentments, fears, insomnia, extra weight, or whatever you want to shift.
